March 26, Independence day of Bangladesh | Abdullah Al Asif

The liberation war of Bangladesh Started in 26 March ,1971. We have achieved our Independence through a 9 month bloody war in 16 December 1971 from Pakistan. The great leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman moved us to independence. At Pakistan period, economic discrimination and deprivation , political disenfranchisement were inflicted upon us by the Pakistani rulers. Though the people of Bangladesh won the Pakistan general election ,1970, the Pakistani ruler was not willing to hand over power to Bangabandhu . Rather they started Genocide at night in 25 March, 1971. So Bangabandhu declared Independence of Bangladesh in 26 March. All the people of Bangladesh joined to the liberation war and finally in 16 December ,1971, we achieved our beloved independence from the Pakistani Army .
